This Refund Policy explains how Iconotic handles refund requests, cancellations, and technical issues related to the purchase of digital icon sets and assets via https://iconotic.com/.

Because our products are digital goods delivered via instant download, they cannot be “returned” in the traditional sense. Therefore, our refund criteria are stricter than those for physical goods or consulting services, in line with Swedish and EU digital commerce regulations.

2. The General Rule: No Refunds for Downloads

All sales are considered final. In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, by purchasing a digital product and clicking the download link or accessing the product files, you:

  1. Expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract.
  2. Acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal and are no longer eligible for a refund once the download has commenced.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

We will only consider a refund or a credit under the following specific circumstances:

  • Technical Defect: The file is corrupted, missing elements, or fundamentally broken, and our technical team cannot provide a working replacement within 3 business days of being notified.
  • Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the exact same icon set twice within a 24-hour period. In this case, we will refund the second transaction.
  • Non-Delivery: You paid for the product but, due to a technical error on our end, the download link was never sent or accessible, and we cannot resolve the access issue.

4. What is NOT Eligible for a Refund

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Subjective Preference: “I don’t like the style of the icons now that I see them in my project.”
  • Software Incompatibility: “I don’t have Adobe Illustrator/Figma to open these files.” (File formats are clearly listed on every product page).
  • User Error: Accidental deletion of the files after download (we provide a re-download window instead).
  • Mistaken Purchase: “I thought these were physical stickers, not digital icons.”

5. Technical Issues and Support

If you experience a problem with a file, you must contact support@iconotic.com within 7 days of purchase. We reserve the right to attempt to fix the file or provide a workaround before issuing a refund.

6. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Swedish Consumers Sales Act regarding faulty digital content. If a digital product is defective and cannot be repaired or replaced, you are entitled to a price reduction or a full refund as required by law.

7. Method and Timing of Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
  • Once a refund is processed, your license to use the icons is immediately revoked. you must delete all copies of the files and cease using them in any projects.

  2. The email address used for the purchase.
  3. A detailed explanation of the technical defect (including screenshots if applicable).
